Cautivadora (Diva) is a gorgeous PRE (Pura Raza Espanol) 4
year
old mare
out of Idilio who will finish at 16 or 16.1 hands. She has been
under saddle for a year and is a fabulous mover and has a great
mind. Her training started in the summer of 2008. I have been
riding her on rural trails for months and she never bucks or rears;
always forward. She has a wonderful extended and floating trot.
Following is a video of her
last fall when she had been under
saddle for 6 months and had begun her work in the arena. I always
start my horses doing lots of trail work before they start working
in the ring to "get their heads on straight". She has improved
greatly going on the bit the past few months; I just need to get

She is an exceptionally talented and intelligent PRE mare. Out of
the Grand Prix dressage stallion Idilio (imported and being shown
by Hampton Green Farms). This mare is registered
with Spanish studbook (Cria Caballar). Cautivadora is
gorgeous with a fine head and neck and beautiful conformation. She
has the classic movement with high knee and hock action with the
ability for extensions. She has an active and quick hind leg so
piaffe and passage will come naturally to her. I have seen her do
the moves for the Spanish walk easily while playing with our
dogs. She is very athletic and could do eventing as well (She loves
to jump over things in pasture!)
She has been started under saddle and is picking up the correct
leads in canter. Cautivadora has already begun her lateral work
with leg yields. She has very balanced gaits with extension, uphill
movement and willingness to move forward with the energy needed for
the upper levels of dressage. She is responsive to the aids and is
relaxed undersaddle. She has a strong work ethic and pays attention
to her rider. She goes out on for a hack on the trail beautifully.
On the trail she easily goes by sprinklers and fallen trees like a
pro. She doesn't spin or shy. Her focus and braveness are
amazing for a young horse.
This Elegant PRE mare is refined in the
right places and would make a great ladies or young riders
horse. She shows great character and temperament; a true sweetie in
the barn and under saddle. Top quality horse in a good sized
package at 16 hands. Her relaxed yet focused manner and
willingness to work will carry this solid horse to the upper levels
of Dressage. She is the complete package, stands quiet for the
farrier, loads easily, loves his grooming time and wants to be
hugged and scratched. A very affectionate and loving horse.
