Felicidad has been in full training since September 2003
with two
excellent professional trainers who each have extensive
dressage and riding experience. Since March 2006, Felicidad has been
ridden in at least 2, usually 3, training sessions each week and
then ridden the other 3 or 4 days in the dressage arena to practice the
horses progress in dressage training. In the past year, Felicidad
has moved from Level 1 to Level 4.

Over the past
two years dressage work has included: trot half pass, canter half
pass, shoulder
in, pirouette at the walk & canter, extended trot, collected
trot. Felicidad can now do counter canter as well clean and calm
canter lead changes on each lead.

She does clean 4 tempis and is
working on piaffe and passage; she is the school master. Given the
level of dressage training that Felicidad has gained over the past
two years, Christa Elaine Wood who is the Grand Prix dressage
trainer who started Felicidad and did her first two years of
training and showing. Felicidad just competed at Third Level
scoring 65 and winning first place in both classes.
