Filigrana is a 2000 8 year old black mare; excellent straight
dressage type movement. Long mane & tail. Best disposition of any
horse I have ever owned! And gorgeous (Doctor lineage).
This mare has exceptional movement and is trained to second
level. She has been shown at first level with many wins.
Filigrana is also an excellent broodmare who has thrown two
exceptional foals. Her filly 2007 Envcandora is black and out of
Enamorado.

Both of the parents of this stunning bay black mare are from the
farm of Maria Fernanda de la Escalera de la Escalera in Spain. The
Escalera family has been breeding only bays and blacks for 400
years. All her foals will have a very very strong color line to
offer to folks who will be buying your foals! (if you can bear to
part with them, which is the problem all of us face!)
The Escalera line if quite renown for: color, temperament
(exceptional, calm, loving), strength of bone, suspension, forward
drive. They work well when crossed on lines that offer great
elevation (knee and hock). This more traditional (classically
associated with the P.R.E.) movement might not "be your thing".
Since she is straight and forward, if bred to a dressage type
mover, she will produce a foal with more "Warmblood" or
"dressage-type" movement. Absolutely positively your choice.
